Bovine Manure

Best Fertilizer for Home Garden

Bovine Manure

Bovine manure is fully constituent of digested grass and grain, which is waste products of bovine animal species. Manure is a valuable source of key nutrients including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), sulphur (S), magnesium (Mg), and calcium (Ca), as well as certain micronutrients. Cow dung is high in organic materials and rich in nutrients. It contains about 3% nitrogen, 2% phosphorus, and 1% potassium (3 2 1 NPK). Since it has low nitrogen in it, it doesn’t affect the feeble plants. Our well composted and aged Bovine manure as a fertilizer provides a great amount of organic nutrients to soil, enriching them. One major factor which affects the porosity is the heavily compacted soil. Bovine manure loosens them and thus increases its porosity. Abono  package are in Eco-friendly Reusable Cotton Bag.

Generally, organic fertilizers contain relatively low concentrations of the actual plant nutrients, and are not immediately available for plant utilization. Hence, the fortification of organic wastes and their composts as a source of organic nutrients are imperative for sustainable agriculture. Also the fortification of compost with chemical fertilizer enhances agronomic effectiveness of both the organic matter and nutrients by reducing the amount of fertilizer and improving the quality of compost. Many workers have studied the beneficial effects of organic wastes as fertilizers and soil amendments and its fortification to enhance the nutrient content. Plant and animal wastes are freely available on most organic holdings and these can be composted for the supply of nutritious organic matter to be returned to the soil. The use of compost or organic manure is currently being advocated as an option for improving soil fertility conditions for poor farmers.

The Soil’s Best Friend :

Composted Bovine manure fertilizer makes an excellent growing medium for garden plants. When turned into compost and fed to plants and vegetables, cow manure becomes a nutrient-rich fertilizer. It can be mixed into the soil or used as top dressing. An important consideration when composting cow manure is the size of your or pile. If it’s too small, it won’t provide enough heat, which is essential for the composting process.

How Bovine Manure Works :

Adding compoted Bovine manure to your garden beds is an effective way to improve the structure and fertility of your soil. The best time to add Bovine manure to your garden beds is when they are built and each year before you plant your garden.

  • Applying manure or nutrients beyond plant requirements wastes time and money. It can also impact the environment if over applied nutrients leach into water bodies
  • Application rates should be chosen based on nutrient requirements of the soil and crop to be grown, nutrient composition of manure, and the application method
  • Manure with straw and bedding is an excellent source of organic matter when added to the land

Dosage :

  • Use cultivator, trowel or any other digging tool to loosen the soil around the plants. Spread the composted cow manure evenly over the surface of each bed at a rate of 40 pounds for every 100 square feet of garden bed.

  • Mix the Natural fertilizer Bovine manure around the root surface of the plants, making sure it is well mixed.
  • Increasing the aging period of your cow manure up to six months reduces the presence of microbes further.

  • Water the plants regularly and wait for the bloom to blossom

Advantages of Bovine Manure:

  • Manure is an age-old source of fertilizer. It provides all the necessary macro nutrients and many microelectronics while increasing organic matter.
  • Cow manure has relatively less nitrogen than some other manures, so it can be added directly to the soil without damaging plants.
